About the role

You will own meaningful scope in Finance. You will partner across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and GTM to ship value fast.

What you’ll do

• Run FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting with clarity.
• Maintain accurate accounting and reporting.
• Manage procurement and vendor risk with Legal and Security.
• Build unit economics and pricing analysis with Product and RevOps.
• Automate close and planning workflows.
• Document decisions clearly and keep stakeholders aligned.

First 90 days

• 30d: close books on time and clean
• 60d: implement rolling forecast
• 90d: publish unit economics and pricing insights

What you’ll bring

• Relevant experience in a similar role within SaaS or platforms
• Ability to turn ambiguity into clear plans and shipped work
• Strong collaboration across functions and comfort with data
• Clear written communication and simple, practical thinking
• Bachelor’s or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Compensation and benefits

• Keep HoopAI financially disciplined while we scale in EMEA.
• Own close, forecasting, revenue recognition, and controls.
• Partner with GTM and Product on investments with clear ROI.
• Upgrade systems to keep data accurate and auditable.

What you'll do

• Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate crisply.
• Ship iteratively with measurable impact and clear owners.
• Document decisions and tradeoffs for future maintainers.
• Model scenarios and advise on investments with ROI clarity.
• Close the books accurately and on time.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Solid accounting/FP&A foundations and systems experience.
• Data fluency and scenario modeling.
• Strong ownership, bias to action, and crisp communication.
• Ability to work across time zones with clear written updates.
